Had a most lovely, simple, comfortable overnight homestay with a lovely local family. David and his parents, Peter and Agnes welcomed us warmly. A stunning farm garden that Peter is most proud to show you. Great Kilimanjaro views! We're coming back to work with Agnes' women's group and do some hiking with David in the lovely nearby hills and gorges. Highly recommend this homestay to those who like to mix it up with their accommodations and inclined to adventure.
Really good homestay experience with the sweetest family
David and his family (parents, wife and children) are so so sweet. The moment you enter, you feel like you belong to the family. It's a real homestay experience, and nice it has a good toilet and shower. David and his father showed me around. With David I went to the market together, took our bikes to the border and his wife makes amazing tasty Kenyan food that is included in the price! The room you sleep in is comfortable, and they will do anything to make you feel home and happy. When I am around, this is going to be my place to go for sure!

Wonderful Experience and Great Value for Money
We had an amazing stay with an amazing Kenyan family. The women of the household are loving and caring, David is truly inspiring, and his dad is an absolute legend. The cottage is nestled in a serene, beautiful garden with a perfect view of the mountain, also perfectly located for a safari to Amboseli. There are also plenty of activities to engage in which will make a difference to the lives of the locals. Would have stayed longer if there was availability
Exceptional
David and his family are very warm and welcoming. You will see Kilimanjaro right in front of the homestay. The food prepared at home is excellent especially the Chicken with Ugali. Would highly recommend the walk to border to Tanzania!
Cultural experience with awesome activities
David and the fam made me feel so welcome and at home and we did so many awesome things together! Went to the beautiful gorge, a rooftop bar with view on Kili, Maasai Deco women, soccer with the kids and a hike around to the border where we had Tanzanian beer. David helped me with a new sim , a safari to Amboseli which is close by and so so beautiful, I couldn't be happier. Also I felt free enough to do my own thing in and around the house, even stayed in bed when I was ill for half a day. From the garden you can see Kili, depending on the weather and David's dad, Peter, gave me a tour around the garden to show all the veggies and fruits they grow themselves. Learnt a lot about Kenyan culture and ate the best food, they made everything special for me as I'm a vegetarian and allergic to onion and garlic. Also explained how to make it and showed me when I wanted. Thank you so so much!!
This homestay experience was by far our favorite stay on our road trip through Kenya! If you want to have an unforgettable and authentic experience by being part of a Kenyan family with one of the nicest people I've ever met I highly recommend this homestay. We stayed for four nights and could've easily stayed longer. First of all, David is an amazing tour guide who organized so many things for us: an unforgettable safari trip to Amboseli, a hike to the Tanzania border with the best views of Kilimanjaro, a visit of a Maasai village and a local Maasai women group they support, walks to the town and the local market... We are beyond thankful for all these experiences and loved hanging out with him! (: Eveline's food is heavenly, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner with the family together (all included in the price) and it was the best food we've had on our trip. We already miss the whole family and we will definitely come back one day. Again, I highly recommend booking with them. Asante!!
We stayed with Eveline, David and peter in order to get to Amboseli Park (45 min) the next day, but we loved this meeting so much that we extended our stay! The family is so helpful and caring, thanks to them we were able to discover excellent culinary specialties, learn some basics of Kenyan culture, wash our own laundry, all with an amazing view of Kilimanjaro. David accompanied us into town, showed us a waterfall, and brought us to the border with Tanzania (less than an hour walk!) We would have stayed longer with great pleasure, it was an exceptional meeting. Thanks again, we look forward to seeing you again.
